The « Aux oiseaux »
Room
1 double bed + 1 single bed.
Upstairs, this large room is lit by a window overlooking
the garden giving a splendid view which extends right up to
the pond on the road to Saint-Viâtre, where, if you’re lucky,
you may catch a glimpse of a grey heron.
The cherry wood furniture and the Indian colour and
flower patterned curtains provide a very cheerful atmosphere.
An alcove in the back, lined with striped wallpaper, is
equipped with a bed to sleep an extra person.
Locally found birds such as pheasant, duck and other
Sologne fowl, hence the name « Oiseaux » room, adorn the
wallpaper, the paintings/prints and the Lamotte-Beuvron
chinaware.
The pond outside the window, the birds, the wooded path
decoration in the bathroom… That’s right you’re in Sologne !
